IV Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IV Technician to join our team at IV Nutrition. As an IV Technician, you will be responsible for administering intravenous vitamins and nutrients to our clients, helping them to achieve optimal health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer IVs and run fluid therapy for the intravenous process
• Monitor client response to treatment
• Manage and prevent infections
• Assess client physical health, including vital signs and mental status
• Identify contradictions to intravenous therapy for the client
• Document interactions and communication with clients regarding therapy services, assessment, and responses/reactions to treatment

Requirements

• Credentialed as an RN, EMT, Paramedic, ADN, or LPN
• 2 years minimum of vascular access or infusion experience
• Strong venous access skills, including ability to access peripheral veins

Working Conditions

This position will work eight to ten hour shifts and is required to work three shifts minimum each month. General clinic environment with climate control.

Language Ability

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical documents. Ability to communicate clearly.
