Job Summary

US Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Production Setup Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a wide range of equipment used in the fabrication, stamping, production, and assembly of desired components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate equipment to manufacture components and assemblies
  • Maintain equipment to high levels of efficiency and quality, adhering to tolerances and work specifications
  • Measure quality parameters of components and assemblies, and determine corrective action where necessary
  • Perform inventory-related tasks and move materials to ensure continuous operations
  • Assist, train, and develop new operators
  • Work from work instructions and production schedules, selecting proper tooling, equipment, and material for the job
  • Make adjustments to equipment, tooling, programs, and process to provide efficient and quality operations
  • Verify work conforms to specifications using gages, scales, micrometres, or other measuring instruments
  • Follow IATF and ISO procedures, processes, and work instructions
  • Operate machines/equipment associated with all aspects of position functions
  • Maintain assigned work area(s) and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • Adhere to company housekeeping schedules and PM schedules
Requirements
  • Education or experience equivalent to a complete accredited apprenticeship in a recognized trade, craft, or occupation; or equivalent to a 2-year technical college education or equivalent years of experience demonstrating advance setup and operations skills

  • Makes decisions in order to perform a variety of tasks all related departments while working under time constraints
  • Ability to use material handling devices such as hand trucks, and hydraulic lift trucks
  • Basic Computer Skills
