Job Summary

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at Restaurant Depot. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our inventory levels and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure the accuracy of our inventory levels and identify any discrepancies.
  2. Product Location and Retrieval: Assist customers in locating and retrieving products from our warehouse, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  3. Inventory Research and Analysis: Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between physical inventory counts and database records, utilizing our proprietary computer system (JSS) to identify and correct errors.
  4. Warehouse Operations: Perform various tasks to maintain a safe and efficient warehouse environment, including operating a scissor lift and moving products as needed.
  5. Customer Service: Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in inventory management or a related field preferred.
  2. Skills and Abilities: Excellent math skills, basic computer skills, and strong communication skills; ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
  3. Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with varying temperatures and exposure to industrial vehicles and equipment.
