Acute Care Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acute Care RN to join our team at Covenant Medical Center. As a member of our nursing staff, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with acute medical conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in acute care nursing.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting open communication, teamwork, and a culture of safety and respect.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Texas Registered Nurse License.
- Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- Within 90 days of hire: National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course.
- One year of RN experience.
