Kentucky Territory Sales Representative

This exciting opportunity at United Gilsonite Labs (UGL) is a Sales Representative position located in Kentucky and surrounding states. The ideal candidate will have experience calling on big box stores, independent hardware stores, lumber yards, and distributors within the paint and coatings industry. The role involves regional travel to current customers and proactively seeking out new opportunities and potential leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a business plan to achieve targeted revenue growth within the assigned region
- Prepare action plans for effective sales lead generation
- Provide timely feedback to the Regional Sales Director on sales performance
- Create and conduct proposal presentations to new prospects and existing customers
- Regional travel requirements to meet with customers and prospects
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
- Maintain contact with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction
- Attend trade shows and contractor events for product training and demonstrations
- Develop key relationships with customers and prospects through site visits
Requirements:
- Self-motivated and independent individual
- 3+ years of sales experience in the paint sundries industry
- Proven sales track record
- Proficient in sales prospecting, time management, and negotiation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently from a remote field office
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
Working Conditions:
Must be flexible to work occasional weekends when needed; travel requirements apply.
