Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating respiratory care plans for patients with complex medical needs. This includes providing ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and other life-sustaining treatments as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient condition and develop individualized respiratory care plans
  • Implement and evaluate respiratory care treatments, including ventilation and oxygen therapy
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address complex patient needs

Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved respiratory care program
  • Active Louisiana Respiratory Therapist License
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum of one to three years of related work experience
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
