As a key member of our crisis services team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight to our crisis services program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Assign and supervise work tasks of staff working in all program areas of Crisis Services, including the Hotline, Mobile Outreach, and Stabilization Unit.
  • Clinical Services: Provide direct services to clients in all program areas as needed, ensuring a balance between safety and least restrictive alternative in a residential environment.
  • Staff Development: Train staff on an ongoing basis, orient new staff to the ESS program, and provide 1-1 and group supervision to supervisees on shift.
  • Operational Management: Make decisions on staffing levels on each shift based on safety and clinical need, approve all leave time of clinical staff, and ensure ESS is responsive and sensitive to community requests for service 24 hours per day.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that the clinical practice of staff assigned to the unit provides a balance between safety and least restrictive alternative in a residential environment.
  • Communication: Respond to and attempt to resolve, in a timely fashion, complaints made by clients, families, or by other service systems, and bring these issues to the attention of the Associate Director and Director.
  • Policy and Procedure: Keep staff informed of all policy changes and new program expectations, and participate in supervisory/management meetings.
  • Team Collaboration: Share the 24-hour shift coverage with other team leaders to ensure that a team leader is always on duty at ESS, and start and end shift with the team as much as possible to ensure supervisory coverage is continuous.
  • On-Call Responsibilities: Work on-call as supervisory back-up as assigned by the Associate Director.
  • Consultation and Collaboration: Consult and work with ESS Associate Director and Director regarding clinical issues and administrative risk management issues.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's or higher in Counseling Psychology or Related Field.
  • Education: Master's or higher in Social Work or Related Field.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Clinical Prof. Counselor, LISW Supervisor, LPCC Supervisor, Independent Social Worker.
