Position OverviewMRO Corporation is looking for a Senior Systems Engineering Consultant to enhance our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for facilitating the deployment of systems and capabilities focused on our extensive ROI product software suite. The Senior Systems Engineering Consultant will emphasize the operations, maintenance, and deployment of the program's technical strategy. This senior position demands robust technical knowledge, exceptional communication abilities, and a collaborative spirit to work effectively with diverse teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver technical leadership and direction on system architecture, execution, and functionality.
  • Continuously monitor network activity and system performance; identify inefficiencies and implement enhancements to ensure peak efficiency and dependability.
  • Engage with stakeholders to comprehend business needs and devise solutions to fulfill those requirements.
  • Design and establish architectures that align with security, scalability, and performance standards.
  • Set up and configure network devices and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and QoS.
  • Create and uphold technical documentation and standards.
  • Offer expert-level support and troubleshooting for Azure-based systems.
  • Work alongside development teams to guarantee seamless integration and operation of applications.
  • Keep abreast of the Azure roadmap and new feature rollouts, evaluating their implications and potential advantages.
  • Provide comprehensive solutions for managing server, storage, and network infrastructure.
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers, offering technical advice and training.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Over 10 years of experience in systems engineering, particularly in cloud computing (Azure preferred).
  • Deep expertise in Azure services, encompassing compute, storage, networking, and security.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server, GPO policies, PowerShell scripting, and deployment.
  • Advanced understanding of networking principles and tools such as IPAM, DNS, NTP, WAN Acceleration, Load Balancing, and Firewalls (Azure ExpressRoute, Google Interconnect).
  • Experience with Azure migration, deployment, and management.
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic environment and adjust to shifting priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform).
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and Kubernetes.
