We are seeking a highly skilled Software Systems Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading software engineering efforts using Agile methods, processes, and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead software engineering efforts using Agile methods, processes, and practices.
  • Share subject matter expertise and facilitate release planning activities.
  • Escalate and remove team impediments, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain software systems using modern practices, tools, technologies, and languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions.
Requirements
  • Direct tangible experience and understanding of managing/leading software engineering efforts using Agile methods, processes, and practices.
  • Demonstrated strong background in the full lifecycle of software engineering.
  • Test, verification, and deployment experience.
  • Experience supporting reviews, such as peer reviews, code reviews, and engineering reviews.
  • Active TS clearance with SCI access; US Citizenship required.
Desired Skills
  • Relevant software systems development experience.
  • Relevant experience with cloud technologies.
  • Experience with DevOps pipeline.
  • Privileged user experience, such as security + certification, CISSP.
  • Integration of software.
  • Automated testing experience.
  • Experience leading and contributing to software systems using modern practices, tools, technologies, and languages.
