The position of Customer Service Specialist at The UPS Store presents an excellent opportunity to provide outstanding service and support to customers with their shipping and printing requirements. In this role, you will be the primary contact for delivering information about our offerings, ensuring a positive experience for every visitor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides outstanding customer service in-person and via phone
  • Listens attentively to customers and colleagues to offer optimal solutions
  • Understands customer shipping needs and recommends suitable options
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of all products, services, and market trends
  • Operates equipment skillfully and enjoys sharing expertise with others
  • Ensures the workspace is clean, organized, and safe
  • Completes additional tasks as required

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in retail or customer service roles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capability to upsell and cross-sell products and services
  • Excellent packing skills
  • Familiarity with computer applications such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
  • Polished phone etiquette
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable and able to lift heavy items
