Cardiology Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Nuvance Health.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing electrophysiology clinical services and support, including assessment and monitoring of patients with Cardiovascular Implantable Electronic Devices (CIEDs). The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians to develop and implement plans of care for patients with electrophysiological abnormalities.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform and record physical examinations on inpatient and outpatient cardiology patients.
- Develop diagnoses and plans of care, ordering necessary testing, diagnostics, and medications.
- Manage ordered tests, including providing patient results and ordering additional testing as needed.
- Monitor and manage devices, including interrogation, management, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with device implantation, including pre-op assessments, management of issues, and completing admissions and discharges.
- Monitor and manage remote websites and investigate/triage transmissions.
- Evaluate urgent CIED patients.
- Train RNs, technicians, and NPs on electrophysiology basics and device management.
- Perform Tilt Table Testing according to defined protocol.
- Create and implement device clinical protocols.
- Participate in clinical research planning and execution.
- NYS License and Board Certification.
- Cardiology experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
