Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner at Nuvance Health is an integral part of our esteemed cardiology team. The selected Nurse Practitioner (NP) will engage in delivering specialized electrophysiology services, focusing on the assessment and management of patients with Cardiovascular Implantable Electronic Devices (CIEDs) such as pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive physical examinations for both inpatient and outpatient cardiology patients as directed by supervising physicians.
2. Formulate diagnoses and develop tailored care plans, ensuring all necessary tests, diagnostics, and medications are ordered.
3. Oversee the management of diagnostic tests, including communicating results to patients and coordinating additional testing as needed.
4. Monitor and troubleshoot devices, including interrogation and adjustments.
5. Assist in device implantation processes, which may involve pre-operative assessments, inpatient care, and discharge planning.
6. Regularly monitor remote patient management systems and address any urgent transmissions.
7. Evaluate urgent cases involving CIEDs and provide immediate care.
8. Educate and train nursing staff and technicians on electrophysiology principles and patient management strategies.
9. Conduct Tilt Table Testing in accordance with established protocols.
10. Develop and implement clinical protocols for device management.
11. Participate in clinical research initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Current NYS License and Board Certification required.
- Previous experience in cardiology is preferred; however, we are open to training motivated candidates.

Work Schedule:
- Full-Time, Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 8-hour workdays.
Salary Range:
- $105,000 - $150,000 annually.
