Job Summary

At Saint Mary's Regional, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to join our team as a Patient Care Coordinator, Clinical Support Specialist, or Healthcare Coordinator. This role is responsible for collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care, while ensuring seamless coordination of services and efficient use of resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
  • Administer injections and medications as prescribed by physicians, maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Perform routine medical procedures, such as ECGs, spirometry, and ear irrigation, as needed.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of patient supplies, ordering and restocking as required.
  • Assist providers with procedures, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of care.
  • Schedule and pre-authorize outpatient diagnostic procedures, inpatient hospitalizations, and provider-to-provider referrals, ensuring seamless coordination of services.
  • Coordinate provider schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources and minimizing delays.
  • Perform other duties and assignments as required or requested by management.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) in the state of Arkansas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
