Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing procedures in nuclear medicine.
Responsibilities:- Provide quality patient care and perform procedures on patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric.
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures as defined by department protocol and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Assess patients, prepare them for procedures, and work with other healthcare providers to provide accurate and timely diagnostic and therapeutic data.
- Interact with patients, guests, and other hospital personnel in a friendly and responsive manner to ensure quality patient care.
- Perform imaging procedures, including planar, SPECT, and SPECT-CT studies.
- Participate in clinical education programs and contribute to the training of nuclear medicine personnel.
- Order, prepare, and dispense radiopharmaceuticals, and perform quality control on instrumentation.
- Administer intravenous and oral radiopharmaceuticals and report any irregularities to the radiation safety officer and medical director.
- Associate's Degree preferred.
- NMTCB or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (N) certification.
- Certified by the State of Texas - MRT.
- CPR/BLS certification.
$52.55/hour.
