Job Summary

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for performing various radiographic procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist. This role involves conducting tests on in-patients and out-patients using Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures
  • Receive and prepare radioactive materials, maintaining radiation records
  • Operate in the hot lab area, utilizing established radiation safety techniques and equipment
  • Perform related duties, such as scheduling and charging exams
  • Take emergency after-hours calls on a rotating basis
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-accredited nuclear school of medicine or an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • Current license with the State of Texas, ARRT, and/or NMTCB license
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • 1 year of previous experience in a hospital environment (preferred)
