As a Hospice/Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to individuals in need. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of essential services that enhance the quality of life for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
- Deliver care as outlined in each patient's hospice care plan.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with mobility, transferring, and exercises to maintain physical health.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor clients' conditions, reporting any concerns to a supervisor.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming home environment.
- Engage clients in enjoyable activities such as games, reading, and hobbies.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Active CNA certification in South Carolina.
- A minimum of one year of experience as a CNA, preferably in hospice care.
- CPR certification.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- A compassionate demeanor, effective communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
