Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at The Waterford at Shavano Park. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our community, including grounds, buildings, and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the grounds, including outside building repair, lawn maintenance, and garbage removal.
  • Maintain the inside of the building, offices, and common areas.
  • Maintain and/or oversee the repair of community equipment, ensuring that equipment is functioning properly and staff are trained appropriately in its use.
  • Prepare apartments for move-in and refurbish units after move-out.
  • Maintain fire safety and emergency records, and perform maintenance of systems and inspections required by state.
  • Oversee the Housekeeping department.

Qualifications

  • Experience in maintenance preferred, with familiarity with techniques of minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security, and heating and cooling systems required.
  • Experience in building safety and hazard reduction preferred.
