Salary Range: $23-$25 per hour

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 10:15 AM – 7 PM, with occasional evening and weekend availability required

Overview: We are seeking a committed Housing Navigator Caseworker II to support individuals in achieving their housing aspirations. This role focuses on guiding clients through the process of identifying housing objectives, addressing obstacles, and securing appropriate housing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in recognizing their strengths, challenges, and realistic housing goals
  • Deliver case management services and collaborate with community partners to meet clients' unique needs
  • Support clients in accessing essential services, completing necessary applications, and enhancing their income
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with landlords and rental agencies
  • Provide education on housing alternatives, market dynamics, and tenant rights

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in case management with individuals experiencing homelessness
  • Background in working with mental health and substance use challenges
  • Associate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with best practices such as Housing First, Trauma-Informed Care, and Conflict Resolution
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
  • Skilled in data collection and report preparation

Work Environment:

  • Utilization of computer systems for research and communication
  • Engagement in periods of standing, walking, lifting, and reaching
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds
