Job Title: Scientist II, Quality Control Specialist
Job Summary:
V R Della Infotech Inc is seeking a highly skilled Scientist II, Quality Control Specialist to join our team in Carlsbad. As a key member of our Biosciences Division, you will play a critical role in performing Quality Control assays and experiments on molecular biology reagents for global use in research and commercial products in the life sciences industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Qualify product(s) in a lab setting following standard operating procedures
- Perform various assays, including PCR, qPCR, Bioanalyzer, HPLC, HPIC, small/medium nucleic acid purification, Polyacrylamide and Agarose Gel Electrophoresis, Cloning and Transformation, FRET and Flow Cytometry
- Create and maintain specification batch records and other work order documents
- Analyze data and make detailed observations to ensure product quality
- Initiate and process problem notifications for deviations and material nonconformance
- Maintain equipment, product inventories, and related records
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or research laboratory setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in scientific laboratory techniques and equipment
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and/or GMP manufacturing environment
- Strong commitment to continuous improvement
