About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer 2 to join our team at Apex Companies, LLC. As a key member of our environmental consulting and engineering firm, you will play a critical role in supporting soil and groundwater remediation projects.

Responsibilities
  • Project Support: Provide technical assistance to project managers and engineers on remediation projects, including soil and groundwater remediation.
  • Operations and Maintenance: Oversee the operations and maintenance of remediation systems, including groundwater and soil vapor extraction.
  • Field Work: Conduct field work to ensure that work is done in accordance with work plans and other plans and specifications.
  • Technical Writing: Write technical reports and proposals to support project deliverables.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with field technicians and other team members to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
  • Certifications: EIT certification desired, HAZWOPER certification required.
  • Experience: 4 to 6 years of related experience with field data collection and technical writing.
  • Skills: Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, and excellent technical communication skills.
