Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with loan applicants to assess their requirements and gather necessary documentation for loan processing.
  • Uphold confidentiality and maintain discretion at all times.
  • Regularly review active loan files and propose solutions to expedite the loan approval process.
  • Draft loan agreements and educate clients on relevant policies and regulations.
  • Conduct interviews with applicants to determine financial eligibility and create debt repayment plans.
  • Keep accurate and updated records of accounts.
  • Timely submission of loan applications.
  • Prepare comprehensive loan proposals.
  • Decline loan applications when necessary and provide feedback to applicants regarding their applications.
  • Address inquiries from applicants and resolve any issues related to loans.
  • Strive to meet and surpass performance targets.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a loan officer role.
  • Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal lending regulations.
  • Proficient in banking software and computer applications.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with strong sales capabilities.
