We are seeking a skilled Mushroom Harvesting Specialist to join our team at Stand-By Personnel. As a key member of our harvesting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of mushrooms are harvested and prepared for market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Harvest mushrooms based on size and quality standards.
  • Use a knife to manually cut mushroom stems with precision, following product specifications.
  • Pull mushrooms from the base, applying a twisting technique before cutting the stem.
  • Keep assigned harvesting areas clear of obstacles, mushroom debris, and stumps.
  • Monitor mushroom quality, presentation, and ensure container weights are accurate.
  • Follow SOPs, Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) for food processing.
  • Complete daily logs and reports accurately, as per company procedures.
  • Communicate with team members, assist other areas as needed, and adapt to changing demands.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and operational procedures.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Previous harvesting experience is a plus.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with personnel at all levels.
  • Ability to work unsupervised for periods during the day.
  • Willingness to take on other tasks and support different areas when needed.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Reliable and consistent attendance is essential.
