Key Responsibilities:PAYROLL MANAGEMENT:
  • Administer payroll for salaried exempt, non-exempt, and hourly personnel, ensuring accurate tax and direct deposit processing, compliance with regulatory requirements, including garnishments and tax levies.
  • Oversee payroll operations across multiple states utilizing the ADP Workforce Now HRIS system, acting as the primary payroll administrator for site payroll teams.
  • Provide backup support to site payroll teams during absences, including covering for leaves and vacations.
  • Collaborate with the finance department on payroll-related tasks such as annual bonus calculations, tax issues, audit assistance, and data requests.
  • Implement payroll best practices to enhance efficiency and work with the HR team to refine payroll and HRIS processes.
  • Assist in payroll system upgrades and modifications.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly tax reports as required.
  • Respond promptly to unemployment claims and support site payroll teams with related matters.
  • Maintain employee records within the ADP Workforce Now system.
  • Administer time and attendance policies and manage paid leave for all staff.
  • Generate scheduled and ad-hoc reports related to payroll and HR needs.
HRIS MANAGEMENT:
  • Assist with modifications and enhancements to the ADP Workforce Now HRIS.
  • Maintain comprehensive electronic employee personnel files and documentation, including processing new hires and employment status changes.
  • Generate reports from ADP Workforce Now for payroll, benefits, and employee data as necessary, leveraging knowledge across various HR disciplines.
  • Support the preparation of compliance reports such as EEO1/Vets 100 and annual non-discrimination testing for benefits plans, along with other special reports as requested.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is essential.
  • Prior experience managing payroll in a production or industrial setting is highly preferred.
  • Experience in supporting HR functions is advantageous.
  • A positive and helpful demeanor is required.
