ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within electrical systems across the facility.
  • Support the upkeep of electrical machinery through preventive maintenance protocols.
  • Contribute to the implementation of innovative control systems.
  • Investigate and develop enhanced control mechanisms and electrical processes.
  • Monitor and document recurring issues, providing effective solutions to mitigate these challenges.
  • Identify vulnerabilities in equipment related to electrical systems and formulate corrective strategies.
  • Comprehend the operational functionality of electrical equipment and provide training to operators and maintenance staff on equipment operation and troubleshooting.
  • Assist maintenance teams in ensuring a smooth production process and perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE EXPECTATIONS:

  • Experience in industrial electrical work, with a strong ability to read schematics and troubleshoot PLCs.
  • Possession of relevant electrical certifications, including those from technical colleges or manufacturing entities such as Allen Bradley and SquareD.
  • Preferred 3-5 years of documented experience in the field.

BASIC SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

The selection process will involve a panel interview and a series of standardized and/or practical assessments conducted by the company or an external testing facility. This position is progressive; achieving level 3 is expected within a specified timeframe from the start date. EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled
