Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior EPC Electrical Superintendent to oversee all aspects of electrical installation on large scale oil, gas, chemical, and industrial EPC construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for daily inspections of work for safety, quality, and productivity, as well as budgetary guidelines and job scheduling.

About the Role

As a Senior EPC Electrical Superintendent, you will be responsible for establishing quality standards and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. You will also be responsible for managing and directing project teams, overseeing output from various teams from detail design through commissioning, and establishing project procedures and controls.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct project teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Oversee output from various teams to ensure quality and compliance
  • Establish project procedures and controls to ensure efficient project execution
  • Act as project representative with clients and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication
  • Coordinate training and compliance measures to ensure team readiness
  • Secure necessary approvals for project changes to ensure project continuity
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure project expectations are met
  • Ensure work products meet industry standards and legal codes
  • Provide training and mentoring to entry and mid-level engineers to ensure knowledge transfer

Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in the electrical construction industry, with at least 5+ years in a supervisory role
  • Competent in the use of project control and administration software
  • Advanced knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, and engineering drawings
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and evaluate craft performance
  • Willingness to relocate and travel as required
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
