Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee fitness area interactions to maintain a secure environment for all patrons.
  • Coordinate scheduling for fitness evaluations and introductory sessions.
  • Deliver fundamental exercise guidance and supervise fitness activities.
  • React promptly and effectively to medical emergencies.
  • Support member retention initiatives and advocate for additional services.
  • Stay informed about center programs and conduct facility inspections.
  • Execute opening and closing tasks while ensuring cleanliness of equipment.
  • Capability to lift weights up to 45 pounds.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Enrollment in a health-related educational program is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the fitness sector is advantageous.
  • CPR/AED certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Competent computer skills.
