Job Title: Facilities Engineer

Overview

Infiltrator Systems, a leading manufacturer of innovative onsite wastewater treatment solutions, is seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer to join our team. As a Facilities Engineer, you will play a critical role in planning, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and equipment of our buildings and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage large-scale projects, including developing and managing project budgets, timelines, and scope.
  • Work with internal and external engineering resources, as well as equipment vendors, to design and install new equipment and processes or reconfigure and upgrade existing equipment.
  • Prepare concept drawings for assigned projects and detailed drawings as required in 2D or 3D CAD.
  • Manage contractors and internal resources during project execution.
  • Lead and participate in project startup, including troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and process systems.
  • Develop equipment and process design standards for assigned areas of operations.
  • Apply Lean methods to project designs and automation to reduce waste and process variation.

Requirements:

  • BS degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of building process and construction principles with knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes.
  • Knowledgeable on building mechanical, water, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience managing equipment installation, preferably injection molding equipment.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, SAP, and MS Office.
