Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Registration: Register patients, collect and verify information, and requisition orders and services as needed.
  • Insurance and Billing: Verify insurance coverage, collect co-payments, and manage associated paperwork.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform scheduling, answer phones, and coordinate general requests.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Complete medical necessity audits, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA, EMTLA, and Joint Commission requirements.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure timely and efficient access to care.


Requirements

  • Customer Service Experience: Proven ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clerical Skills: Proficiency in computer systems, typing, and data entry.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, with excellent reading, writing, and speaking skills.
