About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join our client's robust legal team. The successful candidate will have a background in commercial real estate leasing, excellent communication and legal writing skills, and the ability to foster strong interpersonal relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of commercial real estate matters, including transactions, leasing, property management, and dispute resolution.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate leases and related documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Work closely with other departments within the company to provide legal support and advice.
  • Identify legal risks and devise strategies to mitigate them.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in real estate law and advise the company on any potential impact.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a real estate attorney, with a focus on commercial real estate.
  • Admission to the NY state bar.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of real estate law, including commercial leasing.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent legal writing skills, with the ability to draft and review a wide range of legal documents.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Analytical mind, with the ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.
