Real Estate Zoning Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Zoning/Land Use Partner to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our firm, you will provide expert legal counsel and representation to clients on a wide range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, and development projects.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive legal counsel and representation to clients on real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, and development projects.
- Handle complex land use and zoning matters, including subdivisions, rezoning applications, variances, conditional use permits, and appeals.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to identify potential legal issues and develop effective strategies.
- Draft and negotiate real estate contracts, including purchase agreements, leases, and development agreements.
- Represent clients in administrative hearings, zoning board meetings, and litigation as needed.
- Stay current on relevant real estate, land use, and zoning laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm to provide seamless client service.
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and admission to the NY bar.
- 4+ years of experience practicing real estate law with a focus on land use and zoning.
- Demonstrated expertise in handling complex real estate transactions and land use matters.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
