Chief Portfolio Operations Officer

Vida Group International is seeking a seasoned Chief Portfolio Operations Officer to drive operational excellence across multiple portcos. This strategic role will oversee the management of all multi-site operations, ensuring seamless execution of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive business plans for manufacturing operations, encompassing program requirements, labor hours, cycle times, production costs, and image.
  • Contribute to the development of product strategy and research and development of new and emerging products, aligning with the company's growth objectives.
  • Establish and enforce production and quality control standards, develop budget and cost controls, and monitor data regarding product types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates.
  • Provide guidance on the development of manufacturing process plans, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs.
  • Ensure all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met, driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate manufacturing activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to optimize production and resource utilization.
  • Review production and operating reports, directing the resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to minimize costs and prevent delays.
  • Determine responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or MBA preferred.
  • 10-15 years of leadership operations global management experience, with a proven track record of developing and leading strategic business initiatives and projects to improve productivity, quality, inventory, and/or financial targets.
  • Best Practice Global industry knowledge and understanding of lean systems, their linkage to the company's business system, and their application to eliminate waste.
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification.
