Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Survey Crew Chief to lead our field operations team. As a key member of our Survey/Geospatial team, you will be responsible for overseeing the collection and interpretation of geospatial data to support our engineering and design projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of surveyors and geospatial technicians in the collection and processing of geospatial data
  • Oversee the operation of survey equipment, including total stations, data collectors, and 3D scanners
  • Develop and implement survey plans and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient data collection
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure that survey data meets project requirements
  • Conduct quality control checks on survey data to ensure accuracy and completeness
Requirements
  • 10 years of experience in field survey operations, with at least 5 years of experience as a Party Chief or equivalent
  • Proficiency with survey equipment, including total stations, data collectors, and 3D scanners
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with a strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
