Candidate Profile:

Key Responsibilities:
- Networking: Manage VLAN configurations, network segmentation, switch programming, stacking, remote access via VPN, and overall firewall systems.
- Hosting: Oversee routine server management primarily in Microsoft Windows, maintain VMWARE virtual environments, manage Azure Virtual Machines, administer O365, and oversee VEEAM and other backup technologies.
- Security: Utilize XDR and SIEM tools for enhanced security measures.
- Software Deployments: Implement MS Intune and MS Deployment ToolKit MDT / Windows Deployment Services WDS.
- Scripting / Automation: Utilize PowerShell, CScript, and VBScript for automation tasks.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in server, database, network administration, and cloud system administration.
- Strong understanding of systems and networking software, hardware, and protocols.
- Familiarity with modern IT security principles and tools.
- Proven experience in developing and executing IT system upgrade plans.
- Expertise in implementing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.
- Attention to detail and reliability are essential traits.
- Ability to manage projects, communicate effectively, and monitor project progress.
- Preferred experience with VEEAM backups, SQL server, Ruckus/Brocade or Extreme switches, firewall management (Checkpoint or Fortinet), ICT GX security system, and MS Deployment ToolKit MDT / Windows Deployment Services WDS.
