Job Summary

ASRC Industrial seeks a highly skilled Bilingual Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our Infrastructure Group, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support business objectives and drive growth.
  • Provide expert advice on employment-related laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
  • Manage employee relations, including on-boarding, off-boarding, and performance management.
  • Administer benefits, compensation, and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with HR Manager to review, update, and communicate human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards, and other government regulations.
  • Assist with data maintenance and integrity of the HR/PR system, running reports routinely or as necessary to analyze data for ongoing issues, projects, or functions.
  • Ensure employee files are compliant, maintain/review/update completed job descriptions, maintain affirmative action program, and maintain other records, reports, and logs to comply with EEO/AAP and OSHA regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field (degree may be substituted for additional 2 years' experience).
  • Solid understanding/experience with human resources and payroll processes, benefit & compensation administration, recruitment & onboarding processes, handling employee relations issues, organizational planning & development, FMLA/leave administration, employment law compliance (FLSA, ADEA, EEO, ADA, FMLA etc.), performance management, employee development, corrective action, employee investigations, regulatory reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • HR certification a plus - SHRM or other.
  • Bi-Lingual - English Spanish.
