Job Summary

St. John's Episcopal Hospital is seeking a skilled Hyperbaric Technician to join our team. As a Hyperbaric Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the hyperbaric chamber and associated systems and equipment. You will also assist in the delivery of patient care appropriate to the level of your medical training.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain the hyperbaric chamber and associated systems and equipment.
  • Assist in the delivery of patient care appropriate to the level of your medical training.
  • Perform personal care/interventions as delegated by the Hyperbaric Supervisor or physician according to policy, procedure, unit routine and patient need.
  • Document transport on ProTouch per specific patient orders.
  • Report changes in patient's behavior to appropriate hospital staff.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency.
  • 3 years experience as a Hyperbaric Chamber Operation Technician.
  • UHMS 40 hour course Certified Hyperbaric Technologist.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
