Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OR Technician II to join our surgical team at Centerpoint Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the OR team in the care of patients, equipment, and supplies.
  • Provide support to surgeons and surgical assistants during operative procedures.
  • Maintain a sterile field and ensure quality patient care during surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Certified Operating Room Technicians (CORT).
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire.
  • Competent to perform as first scrub in three of the four following specialty areas: Robotic, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, and Vascular Surgery.
