The Centerpoint Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist II to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist II, you will play a vital role in the care of patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the surgical team in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Provide patient care and support during surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process.
  • Participate in the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Certified Operating Room Technicians (CORT).
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire.
  • 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
