Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate OA/CTS Admissions Counselor to join our team at Brunswick Job Corps. As an Admissions Counselor, you will play a crucial role in connecting prospective students with the opportunities available at our center. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Student Outreach: Engage with potential students through various channels to provide information about Brunswick Job Corps and its programs.
  • Admissions Guidance: Assist prospective students in navigating the admissions process, providing detailed information on program offerings, admission requirements, and other relevant details.
  • Individualized Counseling: Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to understand the unique needs and goals of each prospective student, offering personalized guidance on program selection and career paths.
  • Application Processing: Manage the admissions application process, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all required documentation.
  • Collaboration with Departments: Work closely with various departments within Brunswick Job Corps to coordinate and facilitate a seamless transition for admitted students.
  • Community Partnerships: Establish and maintain positive relationships with local schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to enhance awareness and facilitate student recruitment.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospective and admitted students, ensuring compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
Qualifications & Experience

Associate's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or a closely related field, and two years of related experience are required. A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Experience may include successful Job Corps enrollment or successful enrollment in other youth development programs. A valid in-State Driver's License and meeting Company insurability requirements are also necessary.
