Job Title: Patient Services Coordinator

Join our dedicated team at Midtown Health Center as a Patient Services Coordinator. In this role, you will serve as the welcoming presence for patients and visitors, managing essential front desk operations, conducting financial evaluations, and organizing patient documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute general front desk responsibilities including greeting patients, managing phone inquiries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining organized records.
  • Evaluate patient fees, process payments, maintain financial accuracy, and assist in the management of patient files.
  • Prepare and update patient documentation, ensuring all demographic information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Confirm patient insurance coverage and payment options for services rendered.
  • Ensure a well-organized office environment with an effective filing system.
  • Provide translation assistance for clinical staff when required.
  • Direct patients to the appropriate personnel for financial or resource support.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare office environment is advantageous.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to personal transportation.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to remain seated or standing for extended durations.
  • Capability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally.
  • Flexibility for bending, stooping, and reaching tasks.
  • Normal vision and hearing capabilities.
