Job Summary

Luminator Technology Group is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to lead the development of innovative electronics systems for commercial and military aircraft. As a key member of our Aerospace Engineering division, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining advanced electronic products and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design, implement, test, maintain, and enhance advanced electronic products and systems with a focus on innovation and reliability in aerospace applications.
  • Technical Documentation: Develop and refine technical documentation and specifications of electronic products and systems, to ensure that installation and operations conform to rigorous aerospace standards and customer requirements.
  • Project Management: Oversee electronic design production efforts to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion, driving excellence in every stage of the product lifecycle.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect and validate completed installations to ensure they meet stringent design specifications and industry standards for safety and performance.
  • Team Collaboration: Provide critical support to manufacturing, installation, and maintenance teams, ensuring seamless integration and operation of electronic systems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering from an accredited institution is required; a Master's degree or advanced certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience: A minimum of 4-7 years in designing electronic circuits and systems, with a proven track record in aerospace or other regulated industries being a significant advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Electronics CAD design tools such as Altium, PADS or Cadence, with the ability to tackle complex design challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights to senior management and external stakeholders driving informed decision-making.
