Job Summary

The Electrical Drafter is a key member of the Maverick Power LLC team, responsible for creating complex electrical drawings and designs. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD technology, drafting skills, and electrical principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain electrical drawings and designs for new and modified equipment specifications.
  • Collaborate with the project management and engineering team to ensure accurate and efficient design and manufacturing processes.
  • Utilize UL design standards, such as UL 508A, UL 891, and UL 1558, to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Design and maintain an AutoCAD Electrical component library to streamline design processes.
  • Develop standard drawing sets for commonly used electrical components.
  • Work with the purchasing and engineering departments to develop bills of material.
  • Ensure all drawings meet required specifications and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to implement design changes and clarify drawings.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Minimum one year of experience preparing complex layouts, circuit diagrams, sketches, and drawings.
  • Minimum one year of experience with 2D CAD systems.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a customer-focused mindset.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills.
