Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at OrangePeople as we continue to drive innovation and growth in the mobility sector. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch high-quality products that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure that products are designed and developed with the latest technologies and best practices.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and partners.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality testing and validation to ensure that products meet quality and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related field; and/or commensurate work experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience in telematics and multimedia development (4+ years).
  • Skills: Strong understanding of automotive DCM (Telematics) related hardware and software stacks, expert on PowerPoint, and excellent communication skills.
  • Additional Requirements: Ability to work in fast-paced teams with quick decision-making, possess strong technical and product management skills, and ability to work closely with design, software, firmware, testing, and manufacturing teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's or higher level degree.
  • Experience in Infotainment Hardware, Embedded SW, and/or Off-board Software Development.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings and team-building efforts.
  • Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
  • Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
