Estimator/Scheduler Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator/Scheduler to join our team at Potawatomi Federal Solutions. As an Estimator/Scheduler, you will play a critical role in developing cost estimates and schedules for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including civil and building projects.
  • Create and manage complex schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Develop, monitor, and update resource-loaded schedules.
  • Perform critical path analysis, prepare reports, and develop cash flow reports.
  • Identify project changes, trends, risks, and opportunities.
Requirements:
  • B.S. degree in engineering or construction management with 7-10 years of experience or 15+ years of directly related experience with no degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in government contracting is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience estimating, developing schedules, and managing self-performed work activities and subcontracted work.
  • Proficiency in the use of project scheduling software such as Primavera P6.
  • High level of proficiency with Word, spreadsheets, email, and other software used in the construction industry.
Working Conditions:
  • Some walking and standing are required.
  • Most of the work is performed indoors.
  • Work in the occupation involves making repetitive motions more than 1/3 of the time.
  • Requires standing for periodically.
  • Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend.
