About the Role:

Piedmont Columbus Northside is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms by handling the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with licensed staff to ensure seamless execution of surgical procedures
  • Manage and maintain a clean and organized inventory of surgical instruments and equipment
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of operating rooms
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient supply chain management
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical equipment and technologies

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Graduate of a Surgical Technology program or prior experience as a Surgical Technologist
  • Preferred: Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program
