Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to patients, including physical examinations, surgeries, and dentistry
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, educating them on preventative health care and treatment options
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring seamless communication with colleagues and clients
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices, attending continuing education meetings and workshops
  • Collaborate with the paraprofessional team to deliver exceptional client service and promote a positive work environment
  • Represent the hospital in a professional and respectful manner, upholding the highest standards of veterinary medicine
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Texas
  • Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude
  • The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members
  • Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets
  • Compassionate team player who can uphold a great reputation with clients
  • A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics
