Key Responsibilities:
In accordance with a structured cleaning protocol, the technician is responsible for executing both general and specialized cleaning tasks. These tasks include:

  • Performing thorough cleaning of bathrooms and common areas to support university operations.
  • Maintaining hallways, staircases, and elevators, including vacuuming and spot cleaning carpets.
  • Ensuring all surfaces are cleaned and polished, removing any marks or smudges.
  • Dusting and wiping down furniture, blinds, and fixtures, as well as managing litter in designated areas.

Additional Duties:
In addition to routine cleaning, the technician may be required to assist with:

  • Snow and ice removal during winter conditions.
  • Cleanup efforts related to water or fire damage.
  • Support for special events as needed.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in custodial work.
  • A valid driver's license from the appropriate jurisdiction.
  • Basic proficiency in English, with the ability to read and comprehend cleaning product labels and university policies.
