About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team at Community of Hope. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining our facilities in optimal condition, ensuring that all work is completed in a professional and timely manner, and providing guidance and support to other maintenance technicians as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including painting, plumbing, electrical work, and other minor repairs.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to maintenance and custodial staff.
  • Respond to and complete work order requests in a timely manner, reporting status updates to the Facilities Manager.
  • Assess unit turnover needs and coordinate efforts to ensure unit turnovers are completed within contract guidelines.
  • Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance requests as directed by the Facilities Manager.
  • Participate in the COH Snow Team, reporting to assigned sites for snow removal, rock salt and calcium chloride application, and other tasks as requested by the Supervisor.
  • Assist with identifying supplies and equipment needs for ordering and purchasing, maintaining and updating the inventory system as needed.
  • Provide code drill and emergency assistance alongside the Building Emergency Response Team (BERT).
  • Complete necessary paperwork associated with contractor/vendor work or repairs.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 3+ years of experience with basic maintenance and repairs required, 5+ years strongly preferred.
  • Able to safely use a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Punctuality, reliability, and ability to work independently required.
  • Experience with basic computer programs and emailing.
  • Ability to travel to other sites required.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and on call as needed, required.
