GPS Receiver Principal Investigator

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a highly skilled GPS Receiver Principal Investigator to join our team in Woodland Hills, CA. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership of our navigation research and development portfolio for military applications.
  • Develop and evaluate GPS receiver architectures and requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and monitoring for activities focused on simulation modeling and analysis of GPS receiver processing and performance.
  • Characterize GPS receiver performance in relevant environments.
  • Interface with government R&D organizations to develop advanced navigation and timing technologies.
Requirements:
  • Masters of Science in a STEM discipline and a minimum of 18 years of prior relevant experience, OR Ph.D. in STEM discipline and a minimum of 15 years of prior relevant experience.
  • US Citizenship is required in order to obtain and maintain security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or Electrical Engineering or any related field and a minimum of 15 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Working experience as a Team Lead, Technical Lead, and/or Subject Matter Expert (SME) in fields of knowledge and expertise.

We offer a competitive salary range of $203,300 - $304,900 and a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
