3 years of Engineering experience with Masters Experience with both FPGA coding and embedded software Experience with VHDL and or software lifecycle: specification, design, implementation, integration, debug, and maintenance required Experience in Software Architecture design and implementation Demonstrated use of high-level programming languages such as C, C++, or Java, or scripting languages such as Python Experience in security architecting and coding Experience using software management and workflow automation tools such as ClearCase, Git, ClearQuest, or Jira US Citizenship Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Clearance Engineering experience or academic background in the navigation/FPNT domain, specifically in one or more of the following areas:NAVWAR Algorithms Timing and Distributed Clock Algorithms Strapdown Inertial Navigation Systems SDR or software defined radios Instrument and navigation applications Multi-Sensor Fusion Algorithms Quantum Science IMU Systems engineering MEMS Instrument Engineering Instrument engineering GPS receiver Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) SDRs Basic Qualifications for a Sr./pbrstrongPrincipal Embedded Software Engineer / Digital Engineer are:/strong 9 years of Engineering experience with a BS in a STEM discipline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
