Position Overview:
  • Deliver lessons in an engaging manner and utilize visual/audio resources to enhance learning.
  • Provide tailored instruction to each student by fostering interactive learning experiences.
  • Design and distribute educational materials (notes, summaries, assignments, etc.)
  • Evaluate and document student progress, providing grades and constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators, parents, and stakeholders, participating in regular meetings.
  • Plan and implement educational activities and events both in-class and outdoors.
  • Observe and comprehend student behavior and emotional well-being, reporting any concerns regarding neglect or abuse.

Qualifications and Education:
  • Experience in teaching, particularly in an elementary educational setting.
  • Certification to teach in Illinois.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in education or a specialized subject area.
  • PEL License or Substitute License.
